How it works
Accountant in Sussex is a free information and enquiry service. You tell us what you need, we read your message, and where we can, we put you in touch with a local accountant who can talk it through with you. It costs you nothing, and there is no obligation to go ahead with anyone.
Send us your enquiry
Use the form on any page, the get in touch page, or call us on 01273 115520. Tell us your town, whether the help is for you, a business or a property, what you need, and anything useful about your situation, such as a deadline you are working to or a letter you have had from HMRC.
You do not need to have your paperwork in order before you get in touch. A short message is enough to start with.
We read it
A real person reads every enquiry. There is no automated matching, and we never add you to a marketing list. If something is unclear, we may email or call you to check before we do anything else.
Where we can, we put you in touch
If we know a local accountant who may be able to help with the kind of work you describe, we pass your enquiry to them, with your agreement, and they contact you directly. From then on you deal with the accountant: they agree the work and their fee with you, and they are responsible for the advice they give.
We cannot promise that an accountant will be available for every enquiry, particularly close to a deadline such as 31 January, and we will tell you if we are unable to help.
What it costs
Our service is free to you. Any accountant you choose to work with will set their own fee, which you agree with them before any work starts. We may receive payment from accountancy firms we work with, for example for introductions or for featuring on this site. That never adds anything to what you pay.
For a rough idea of what accountants charge, see our guide to how much an accountant costs or try the accountant fee estimator.
What we do not do
- We are not an accountancy firm and we do not prepare accounts or tax returns.
- We do not give tax, legal or financial advice, and nothing on this site should be read as advice for your own situation.
- We do not deal with HMRC or Companies House on your behalf.
- We do not rate or recommend firms. Before you agree to anything, ask any accountant the questions in our guide to questions to ask an accountant.
Your details
We only use your details to deal with your enquiry, and we only share them with an accountant once you have agreed to that. Our privacy policy explains what we keep, for how long and how to ask us to delete it.
